1871   
  • On the 1. November in Hannover two brothers, Berthold and Ernst Körting, founded a company and called it GEBRÜDER KÖRTING (Körting Bros.).
1872
  • Manufacturing of injectors, steam jet and water jet pumps as well as jet condensers.
1874
  • Founding of Körting Brothers in London and Schütte-Körting in America.
1876
  • Invention of the universal injector.
  • Founding of B&E Körting in Vienna as well as Körting Frères in Paris.
  • Construction of the first gas scrubber to clean illuminating gas.
1881
  • Manufacturing of gas motors; patent process against M/s. Deutz, which Körting won.
1885
  • Manufacturing of a new type of gas scrubber functioning acc. to the Venturi principle.
1889
  • Construction of the new Hannover works located in the Badenstedter Strasse.
1904
  • Dr.-Ing. Gustav Fusch, married to Irma Körting
    (oldest daughter of the company's founder Ernst Körting)
    is appointed as a member of the Board of Management of Gebr. Körting AG, Körtingsdorf.
1906
  • Construction of a workers' housing estate which, after a school was built, was officially registered under the name of "Körtingsdorf".
1906
  • Construction of Diesel motors.
1919
  • Loss of foreign works and branch companies.
1920
  • Manufacturing of multi-stage steam jet vacuum pumps.
1935
  • Construction of the first fully-automatic oil burner for tar oils.
1947
  • Supply of complete evaporation plants.
      1953
      • Supply of oil firing systems for the furnace-firing of flat and hollow glass tanks.
      1964
      • Initial application of computer calculations for the designing of jet pumps.
      1965
      • Supply of multi-stage steam jet vacuum pumps for the rocket trial station belonging to the DVLR (Europa Space Rocket).
      1975
      • Combination of Körting fan-assisted burners with heating boilers.
      1986
      • Introduction of large CK burner systems for firing sanding dust, amongst other fuel.
      1987
      • Installation of the first ice condensation plant for the edible oil industry.
      1993
      • Construction of a plant for the thermal elimination of residual substances and combustion of liquid residues (solvents) as well as exhaust air and exhaust gases loaded with chlorinated hydrocarbons.
      1994
      • Foundation of our subsidary in Chennai/India: Koerting Engineering Priváte Limited.
      1996
      • The company celebrates its 125 th. anniversary.
      1999
      • Founding of our subsidiary company,  Koerting Polska Sp.z o.o., Polen, Poznan.
      2002
      • Founding of our subsidiary company,  Koerting SEA SDN. Bhd., Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.
      • Commissioning/start-up of one of the largest steam jet chilling plants in the world (Alexandria/A.R. Egypt) to generate cold water for a chemical plant (chilling capacity approx. 28 MW).
      2005
      • Construction of the world’s largest ice condensation vacuum plant(Rotterdam/ The Netherlands) to generate vacuum during the refining of edible oil. (Edible oil production 2500 t/day, suction performance of the vacuum plant: 795 000 m³/h)
