Drinking water deacidification
Drinking water deacidification with Körting jet water fans is a simple and reliable process. The 60% deacidification of the initial content of excess carbon dioxide that can be achieved is often sufficient to comply with the German Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV). PVC is the first choice of material for jet water fans and they can also be strengthened with glass-fibre-reinforced polyester on the outside. The jet water fan is fitted in the pipe using loose-type flanges made of glass-fibre-reinforced plastic.
Apart from PVC, other plastics like PE and PP or stainless steel are possible. An optional stainless steel butterfly valve fitted to the suction nozzle is part of the scope.
