Pressure gain

The achievable pressure increase of gas flows between a jet scrubber or jet ejector’s gas inlet and outlet is called a pressure gain. Where jet ejectors are used to convey liquids, the pressure gain also refers to the liquid’s inlet and outlet.

The achievable pressure gain is a function of the ratio of the quantity of the suction medium/gas volume flow entering the jet ejector/jet scrubber to the motive flow used and its pressure (motive pressure). More motive medium and more motive pressure always increase the pressure gain.
