The Venturi scrubber can be fitted with an optional adjustment device that adapts dedusting performance to partial loads and different operating conditions.

A movable displacer is fitted in the Venturi nozzle and enables the effective mixing area (the area where primary dust removal takes place) to be changed continuously. The Venturi bulb can be moved by an electrically driven spindle to effectively control the Venturi scrubber’s differential pressure. The differential pressure is the main way of gauging dedusting performance (higher differential pressure increases the dedusting performance).

Optional differential pressure measurement enables automatic control of the Venturi scrubber.
